Most of the elderly in our country when the exercise of strength exercises have certainprejudices, fears and concerns and because there is little strength exercises. However, researchhas shown that strength training can effectively prevent the decline in muscle mass of theelderly, the elderly body to delay the decline of capacity have a good effect[1]. In this regard,on the basis of Xuanhua District Elderly Strength Fitness Survey analysis, for the elderly todevelop scientific and rational, practical fitness prescription reference, enhance physicalexercise effect the majority of the elderly. Base on extensive literature review on the use ofquestionnaires, literature, statistics and interviews for the elderly Strength Fitness XuanhuaDistrict to investigate the situation analysis.Conclusion:1. In the elderly to participate in physical fitness activities time and frequency, Xuanhuadistrict elderly exercise frequency and duration of the situation on the whole exercise is morefavorable. However, there are still12.2%for the elderly exercise frequency less than3times/week, and the duration is less than30minutes/times.2. Participate in physical exercise in the elderly purpose, the target area for the elderly toparticipate in the exercise of Xuanhua showing a diversity of characteristics, while alsoshowing a very clear focus on trend. Most involved in the exercise for the elderly, both menand women, are taking the "health promotion, disease prevention," on the top. In addition,there are some elderly people will be physical exercise as entertainment, communication,improve mental state of an effective carrier, physical exercise as a way to reach entertainment,fully demonstrate the purpose of their own value. No significant gender differences inorientation training purposes.3. Physical exercise in older projects with the participation of the elderly XuanhuaDistrict, mostly action is simple, free space, equipment limitations, can not accept theguidance of a professional fitness instructor, less dangerous project. These projects are slowand rhythmic, the intensity is easier to control, better aerobic fitness sport, basically followedthe person should, timely and appropriate principles.
