The Research On The Employment Evaluation System To The Local College Graduates

With the constant development and deepening reform of the advanced education, the employment situation of the college graduates has been faced with a totally new challenge. At present, it has initially formed an employment mechanism with the guidance of market, the regulation of government, the recommendation of universities and colleges, and the mutual selection between the graduates the employers. However, the graduates’ employment is still in an over-supply stage, i.e. the number of graduates seeking for jobs exceeds that of job vacancies, which has posed great pressure to the development of the economy and the stability of the society.The main work and study of this essay are as follows:firstly, the employment characteristics are analyzed based on the present employment situation of college graduates. Meanwhile, the essay points out the disadvantages of focusing on the single index of employment rate nowadays and puts forward the improvement solutions. The author holds that an effective way to evaluate the employment work of colleges is to launch a performance assessment. Secondly, based on the present employment situation through questionnaire, this essay constructs an evaluation system of graduates’employment work by means of organically combining the ordinary work, the characteristic work and actual effects of the work together. Thirdly, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is introduced to ascertain the weight of the several indexes and confirm the standard of the evaluation system of graduates’ employment. Finally, the evaluation system of graduates’ employment is applied to the local universities and colleges for demonstration analysis. Through comparing the employment rate assessment with the index system assessment, the author clearly concluded that the latter can completely reflect the evaluatee’s real working condition and therefore help find and solve the problems. This system brings forward a new trait of thought and method to evaluate the graduates’employment of local universities and colleges.
