Present college students, most of whom were born in the1990s, lived in the era that policy of reform and opening up has been implemented comprehensively and economic activities began to play a dominant role in daily life. Over the last two decades, rapid development of economic, society, awareness of democracy and legality accomplished their personal growth, which made their world outlook, views on life and values showing diversity, and also led them to demonstrate complexities that students living in any other eras do not have. After entering the college, they are facing changes of learning methods, living attitudes, life perspectives, ways of thinking and other aspects. However, as facing new living environment and different management system, new schoolmates and various regional culture, and uncertainty on future and desire of being talent, they become a little confused, and cannot find their proper target to strive for. Over the recent years, many universities and colleges in our country has explored on the realistic education problem of "how to help the new students to get familiar to campus life as soon as possible, complete role transformations from middle school students to college students, and adapt to brand new life". The presented thesis is guided by "people’s all-round development", a doctrine of Marxism. Some related theories about ideological and political education are employed to conduct adaptation education of college freshmen from the viewpoint of practice.The purpose of this thesis is to discuss problems and reasons of new college students’adaptation, and to find the generally applicable and adaptable framework of freshmen enrollment adaptation education. The first chapter is introduction which introduces the background and meaning of this research, points out the freshmen enrollment adaptation performance, analyzes the contents and principles of adaptation education, describes the necessity of conducting freshmen adaptation education, proposes the basic thought of the research. The second chapter discusses the current situations and problems of college freshmen adaptation education. Chapter three studies The theories and methods to conduct freshmen adaptation education is presented in the third chapter, which proposes three guiding ideas i.e."Master, integration and talent", constructs four kinds of courses including guiding education, adaptation education, encouraging education, and ability education, describes the construction and utilization of new media community during freshmen adaptation educational process, and creates a comprehensive college freshmen adaptation education support system. In chapter four, social support and network constructive system is proposed from the perspective of exerting the main functions of education subject and the perspective of full education. Finally, the last part summarizes the research and gives the outlook for future studies.
