With the wave of knowledge-based economy sweeping the globe, the ability ofautonomous learning has gradually become the necessary ability of people’s survivaland development. It has become an important issue faced by the current educationabout how to improve students’ autonomous learning ability to adapt to thedevelopment of society in the future.The purpose of this paper is to find ways to cultivate senior grade one students’autonomous learning ability in physics teaching. The status of students’ physicsautonomous learning ability has been surveyed in four classes of my practice school byusing "MSLQ questionnaire". And I find the following conclusions.(1) Physicsautonomic learning ability of high school students is not prominent.(2) Boys’ ability tocope with anxiety of examination is stronger than girls’, while girls’ ability to usecognitive strategies is stronger than boys’.(3) The senior grade one students’self-efficacy and intrinsic value is in higher level than their ability of using cognitivestrategy, their self-adjustment ability and their ability of dealing with test anxiety, inother words, students have a common problem called “grandiose aims but punyabilities”.Combining the status quo analysis with theoretical research, I put forward thespecific training strategies that we can improve the physics autonomic learning abilityof the students by using a variety of reasonable teaching methodand and creating aphysics autonomous learning environment. Meanwhile, I think that we can cultivatesenior grade one students’ physics autonomous learning ability through the followingways.(1) We can enhance the students’ autonomous learning motivation of Physics bydescribing the physical phenomenon in our daily life, using physics history, usingmultimedia and running a series of fascinating experiments.(2) We can improve thestudents’ ability to use autonomous learning strategies by guiding the students to accessto physical information, letting them do more physics exercises and grouping them toexperiment. And I put forward the autonomous learning teaching process(the teacherset the outline of students’ physics autonomous learning'students study bythemselves'evaluate the results'teach and study in classroom), and then design teaching experiments to compare the students’ physics learning performance in anautonomous learning teaching class with performance in a traditional teaching class.The results show that, compared with traditional teaching, the autonomous learningteaching is easier to improve the students’ physics scores, to speed up the developmentof students’ autonomous learning ability, and it is an effective way to improve seniorgrade one students’ autonomous learning ability.
