Research On The Employment Issues Of Graduates Majoring In Animal Science Of Regional Universities And Colleges

Along with the sharp rise in college enrollment rate and the significant transformation of higher educational form from "elite pattern" to "mass type" as well as the reform of university graduates employment system, the importance of employment issue is highlighted, especially the employment of college graduates. For the past few years, the authoritative file no.1released by Chinese central government has been concerning mainly on the issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area. The Chinese Communist Party and authority has been laying special emphasis on the resolution of the "three agricultural issues", therefore, the employment problem of animal science majored graduates becomes the primary issue in higher education in agriculture.Currently, there is limited amount of literature on study of employment problems of animal science majored college graduates both domestically and abroad. While, this thesis made a further analysis on the current situations of talent cultivation mood as well as situations of employment, taking the sample of graduates majored in both animal science and animal medicine in JY University, made a summary on the experience learned and raised a number of practical solutions and suggestions. The author expects this thesis may serve as a theoretical basis of the solution to employment problems and employment difficulties of graduates in animal science majors and help to cope with the phenomenon in which graduates studied in agricultural majors while are not willing to take the agriculture related jobs.The research is divided into five major parts. The first part concerning the raising of the problem and research background, with the analysis on the significance of the employment of animal science majored graduates to the resolution of other employment problems of graduates in some relating majors of agricultural science. The second part gives an empirical analysis on the employment situation, employment intention and status of animal science related majors, taking the instance of case of JY University. The third part gives an analysis on the current situation of employment of animal science majored graduates of JY University, raising and analyzing the influencing factors of the employment of animal science majored graduates. The forth part mainly falls to practical solutions and suggestions, putting forth corresponding solutions and suggestions to the government, employers and colleges, according to the employment problems of graduates of animal science related majors. The fifth part comes to the conclusion, putting forth the research result and conclusion as well as the possible innovation points, pointing out the possible shortcomings and deficiencies of this research thesis.
