January2015, The General Office of CCCPC andGeneral Office of the State Council issued <Opinions on Further Strengthening andImproving Ideological Publicity Work of Colleges under New Situation>,highlighting thesignificance of ideological work and the important position of colleges in ideological work.Therefore, only taking the initiative to seize this new propagating position and taking newstrategy can adapt to the new situation.As a kind of New Media which has the equal speaking right, We Media has the feature thatis with high tech， cheerful fashion and interactive fits in with the characteristics of universitystudents that is with high quality， chasing fashion trends and strong participatory，consequently， the We Media is very popular among the university students. And We Mediastrengthens the Ideological and Political Education of targeted， enriches the ways andcontents and improves the comprehensive quality of university students. At the same time，we should also recognize that We Media poses the new challenge to the methods， contentsand positions of Ideological and Political Education of undergraduates.Through the practical questionnaire survey in North University of China and thequestionnaire survey on the Micro message public platform of College of Information, ShanxiAgricultural University, overall understanding the usage of We Media for the currentundergraduates in school，analyzing the coupling between We Media and Ideological andPolitical Education of undergraduates，and further proving the feasibility of the coupling. Therefore，Ideological and Political Education team must fully recognize We Media，updatethe education philosophy of managers， strengthen the construction of channel， use the WeMedia platform actively， and improve the campus public opinion supervision system. Inaddition， the national legislative branch should also speed up the legal construction of WeMedia， and build the supervision system of We Media in the frame of the legislation， sothat the We Media will be an effective tool of Ideological and Political Education inuniversities， and also make the Ideological and Political Education of undergraduates workadvanced with the times.
