An Investigation On Jixian Province Mountain Area Middle School Students’Motives Of Physics Study

Mountain area middle school students’motives of physics study has not brought to the attention of the psychological research, And mountain area as a kind of unique geographical environment, the physical learning motivation of middle school students may be different.The questionnaire is compiled by "the research team on the development and cultivation of the middle school students’motives of physics study" hosted by professor Guo. This paper investigate the students from mountain area of Jixian province. The main conclusions are as follows.1. Overall, mountain area students’ motives of physics study is not high, the average score is2.86points. Deploy productively teaching motivation, interest motivation and perfecting self motivation and cognitive motivation is the main motives of physics study. Attachment motivation is in moderate intensity.2. Junior high school students are significantly better than high school students in cognitive motivation, noble dream motivation, interest motivation, deploy productively teaching motivation, practical motivation, and perfecting self motivation. In Obligations motivation, attachment motivation junior high school students are also significantly better than high school students. Only in forced motivation, high school students are significantly better.3. Students of different gender, there are significant differences in noble dream motivation, practical motivation and perfecting self motivation, boys are better than girls.4. In the aspect of interest motivation and deploy productively teaching motivation, ten grade students are significantly lower than eleven and twelve grade students.Finally, give some strategy cultivating high school students physical learning motivation.
