"Neet" Phenomenon Analysis Of College Graduates In Taiyuan City

In recent years, the number of “NEET”(Not currently engaged in Employment,Education or Training) is increasing sharply in China. NEET has become the first killerof the future family. Especially those college graduates born between80and90years,who live in a new era full of fierce competition and enormous pressure, most of themcan face squarely the challenge. They gradually grow and become mature in thecompetition, realizing their own value. However, there are also some graduates can notadapt to the severe employment situation and the complex social environment, andbecoming “NEETs”. The phenomenon of “NEET” not only subverts the traditionalfamily ethics in our country and brings huge economic pressure to the family, but alsodisturbs the normal social order, which is not conducive to the construction of socialistharmonious society. Therefore, the “NEET” problem has important research value andpractical significance. The settlement of this problem, facilitates the “NEET” of collegegraduates examine and return to themselves; helps the college graduates to be out of thecampus of conducive warning themselves, nip it in the bud; is favorable to reshape theimage of family, school and society education in people’s mind; and thus is conduciveto the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation “China dream”.College graduates are in the social transition period, and are easily influenced by theadverse thoughts of western countries such as utilitarianism and hedonism. Moreover,their world outlook, views on life and values are not mature, so their ideological andpolitical education value is easy to appear deviation. This paper takes college studentsNEET of Taiyuan City as an example, described and analyzed the cases through visitingand interviewing, understanding the basic situation of college students NEETs inTaiyuan City. Then, the causes of NEETs formation were summarized from theperspective of ideological and political education. The formation of this problem is aresult of external factors (such as family, school, society and government) and internalfactors of college graduates themselves. Finally, combined with ideological and politicaleducation methodology, the “NEET” problem should be solved gradually by usingdredging education method, comparative education method, typical education andself-education method.
