With the deepening development of economic reform and the enlargement of social restructuring, many young people who were born in the late 70s and early 80s have arrived at the age of employment. Then a great quantity of group, that is to say NEET (Not in education, employment or training) appear in the fast-growing society. There are both inside and outside reason for the NEET, for example, those people are afraid of tiredness and hardship, or have high standard but low capability, so they would better to stay at home under the shield of their elder parents. It has aroused heavy attention about the phenomenon around the society. From the point of most people's view, they are deeply against or dislike it. However, there are still someone who appreciates the NEET's courage and free lifestyle.Well, what kinds of people are considered as NEET? Is it a subjective sense or an objective behavior? Which part of the society-- individual, family or the society should be responsible for the appearance of NEET? And what should we do to deal with the more and more NEET. Moreover, what is the experience and feeling about the pursuit of career of those NEET and what do they look forward to the future? These are all the emphasis in this essay.The production of NEET is an interactive result between individual and society in the background of double transition of social structure. They need to be paid attention to in a brand-new perspective. In this essay, we prepare to analyze it in sociology through researching special case, deep and careful survey and face-to-face communication to those NEET, and to discover the deep reason hidden in the individual phenomenon. Although it can be definitely persuasive to attribute all this to NEET themselves, it has covered quite a few of macro factors in the behind, such as the social, marketing and family structure transformation. Actually speaking, it is precise to say that the NEET are just under the control of those 'invisible powers'.
