| In2011,《the revised standard of compulsory education Englishcourse》was formal issued. In the original based on《the standard ofcourse(Experiment version)》,New course standard has a greatbreakthrough in all aspects. For example, teaching objectives, theteaching methods, contents of course and the means of teachingsuggestions. At the same time, it provides specific teachingsuggestions. In a manner of speaking, it formal issued provides thecritical basis for English teaching in the stage of compulsoryeducation English course and makes English teachers who is inteaching reform adapt to the new course reform. Certainly, thedocument presents some teaching issues and hot issues at thisstage. For example, the difficultly to carry out teaching objectivesteaching issue in a rural area, the English join about primary andsecondary school and teacher issues and so on. Therefore, the textselects Fen Xi country in Shan xi province for the insight theproblems which in country teaching. It is based on “CurriculumStandards (2011)†to analyze the requirements for teachers in allaspects, such as the implementation of teaching objectives, theEnglish book, the use of the resources, teaching methods and theteacher evaluation.Part three is the main part of this article, to analysis the statusof the junior high school English teachers in the countryside.According to the questionnaires, observations and interviews, theauthor finds there are some problems for rural junior high schoolEnglish teachers in the new curriculum adaptability, such as theidea of the curriculum,the implementation of the objectives, thenew textbooks and teacher evaluation.Part four is the conclusion and analysis, which pointed out thatthe rural junior high school English teacher about the newcurriculum adaptability has six main reasons: lack ofunderstanding of the new curriculum, the low professional quality,restrict in daily teaching work and living environment, deficient incurriculum resources, a mere formality in teachers teaching andresearch activities training, and the interface between primary andsecondary school English.Part five is the proposal. The author pointed out those teachersshould to practice the new curriculum ideas in the teaching,improve their professional quality and achieve convergence of primary and secondary teachers. Second, the schools should to givethe strong support, such as the education training’s organizationand management, research activities and teachers’ entryeducation.Part six is conclusion which briefly shows the main opinion ofthis thesis including the analysis of status, the discussion andsuggestions. |
