Athletics is one of the most popular sports in the world,and it is also th e oldest sport in history,known as the "Mother of Sport".However,because th e way of track and field is relatively unitary,the practice is boring,athletics it em in school athletics class is gradually replaced by other sports.Teenagers are the future of the motherland,but the number of people who choose track and field as exercise is gradually decreasing,so athletics is threatened.In order to change the status of track and field,the IAAF has launched a sports project o f "International Athletics for Children",which develops the track and field skill s of youngsters through walking,running,jumping and pitching.Through a vari ety of interesting teaching,to change the single practice,most of the projects using the organization of collective competition,the aim is to cultivate the you ng people's interest in athletics,teaching track and field skills,promote the dev elopment of their track skill,and then the young people again attracted to the track.Since the introduction of the athletics of the IAAF,it is a craze in the a cademic circle,but most of them are the research on the popularization and in terest cultivation of children's interesting athletics,and it is rare to improve the track and field skills of youngsters through the interest of children's athletics.Therefore,this paper takes the students of Bayi Experimental School in Guan gzhou as the experimental research object,carries on the two-month track and field experiment teaching,studies the influence of the athletics teaching of the IAAF on the athletics skill of junior middle school students,explores the reaso n of the change,It can provide reference data for the development of Children's interesting athletics project in our primary and secondary schools.Through the methods of literature,experiment teaching,expert interview,Mathematical Statistics and logical analysis,this paper makes a statistical analy sis of the data of the experiment results,and compares the changes of the two groups of students ' track and field skills,such as running,jumping and casti ng,and concludes the following conclusions:(1)Physical fitness: track and field after the eight week experiment,the track and field teaching after different could promote the development level of the students' physical quality,but the children's interest in athletics teaching for junior high school students' physical quality improvement was significantly hi gher than that of the traditional track and field teaching.The students in runni ng and jumping and flexibility and other aspects of the physical quality of the more obvious is the children's interest in athletics teaching,while students in the traditional teaching of track and field after some physical indicators have i mproved,but the individual quality indicators are declining.Comparison of P s tudent achievement of the students in the experimental group in the 50 meter r un,sit and reach,standing long jump,800 meters and 1000 meters and the sc ores of the control class value is less than 0.05,there was significant differenc e.(2)Motor skills: by the eight-week teaching track and field experiments,have different degrees of enhancement of both teaching methods for the develo pment of athletics skill level of students,teaching content but the degree of th e effect of improving the evaluation,the experimental group students in the sta nding triple jump,medicine ball throw frontal sports skills enhancement effect is more obvious.(3)Interest in learning: after the eight week teaching experiment,the ex perimental group of students on the track and field class interest in learning ha s changed dramatically,while the control group,the learning interest of the stu dents haven't changed much.The children's interest in athletics sports equipmen t is not only to attract students' attention,and new teaching methods,teaching content diversity,practice methods and changeable,can meet the needs of stud ents in class,stimulate their interest in learning,let them re love athletics in p hysical exercise.
