For the unique needs of children for science literacy, children’s picture books to become scientific link science and child development an important link. It is in line with the characteristics of physical and mental development of children, is a multi-art, multi-feel of the kindergarten curriculum; thinking characteristics consistent with the child, the child can use visual thinking and concrete action to capture the children’s thinking in images of pictures of intuitive feelings, triggered scientific interest and desire to explore children to love science and promoting science learning; development by setting "Details" or "blank" subtle promotion of children’s cognitive ability, observation ability, logical thinking skills and creativity of scientific capabilities, based on this, I hope through Comparison of Chinese and foreign children’s picture books of science, to explore the development of China’s future science picture book proposal, so more suitable for Chinese science picture books for children, more beneficial for children, closer to science.Illustrated article in line with the promotion of science and promote the principles of the future development of science picture books, picture books based on extensive research of scientific literature on the in-depth study of the scientific picture book, Taking comparative research as the main research method, combining literature and content analysis and image data analysis clarify the similarities and differences between Chinese and American children’s picture books of science shows inspiration and advice.This thesis consists of fine parts: Part I: INTRODUCTION. Significance of including the proposed issue, concept definition and discrimination, research design, research significance. Part II: Research review. Combed literature review of relevant studies and children from picture books related scientific research two dimensions of picture books for children. Part III: Comparison of Chinese and American children’s picture books of science. From Sino-US scientific values, layout design picture books, picture books content selection, picture elements of, Illustrated presentation of five scientific picture books compare similarities and differences between China and America. Part IV: Results and Implications. Comparative Study of American science through picture books, children’s Sino-US scientific analysis and evaluation of picture books, children’s science picture books discuss Sino-US differences and similarities, further analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of Sino-US scientific picture books exist; the Chinese and American picture books The main difference in picture books for Chinese science issue, the future of science picture books recommended values, design, selection, drawing, text and other five parts, aimed at promoting the development of China’s future science picture books.
