Nowadays, the senior high school art students is a special group at the high school stage of education emerged, and the number increased every year. In this paper,the research object is the art students in Nanchang Experimental Middle School,which is a typical representative school. Using questionnaire and interview approach analysis characteristics, explore the strategy of teaching art students in history education, in order to promote students learning history better, and satisfy their own development.First of all, illustrate research status about teaching strategies and art students.Secondly, investigate by questionnaire and interview art students and history teachers,and to analyze them by quantitative analysis and summary. Analyzing the senior high school art students had more unique features than the ordinary high school students in study, psychological and future development needs. The traditional teaching strategy name "one size fits all", was not suited to art students, and nonconformism the requisition of curricula reformation in high school. Thirdly, analyze the senior high school art students in Nanchang Experimental Middle School, detected that there were more explore in the study of history teaching strategy, but not aim at the senior high school art students teaching strategy, and therefore the strategy was avoid. Finally,based on the research and combined with the characteristics of art students, through the lesson The Renaissance and Reformation, to explore the history teaching strategy of senior high school art students, giving some useful suggestions. In order to improve them historical attainment and humanistic quality, and lay the foundation for future artistic creation. Through the analysis, combined with the unique characteristics of art students, the author expect to propose a purposeful history teaching strategy, and have reference value.
