With the arrival of the knowledge and  economy era,the abuse of traditional education is increasingly obvious. It focuses on the teachers'role as its teaching ideas,ignoring the personal diversities of the students. Exam results and the proportion of the students entering schools of a higher grade are the only targets and this is used as its assess standard. As for the teaching contents, it pays its attention to the teaching of indirect experiences and as a result, what is learned is divorced from practice. The basic teaching steps put forward by "the teacher's own saying on the classroom", while the students can not play their main and creative role in this way. This kind of boring and lifeless teaching method can't satisfy the students' need of the physiology and psychology. With the development of quality education, how to place the history teaching in a kind of harmonious and loose environment, collide the spark of student's thinking continuously and exalt the history teaching effect result which can make learning and teaching effectively, the history education faces the challenge. This is the history situation teaching that I am making a study of and practicing. The so-called history situation teaching is a method,  which  it should synthesize to make use of various teaching methods and means ,establish the particular teaching situation actively, urge the comprehensive activity of left brain and right brains of student, stir up the student's interest in the study and emotions, Establish the delighted and presentational cognition process , Make the student control the history knowledge, shape the thoughts and feelings, set up the right standpoint and foster the creative ability according to the situation teaching theory , the history subject characteristic and  the middle school student's history cognition regulation.  The theories foundation of the situation teaching contain following several aspects which is Keeping the view teaching, feeling know symmetry and role conversion. To carrying on the situation teaching in the practice, the principles should be followed the heuristic principle, the fulfillment principle. the adjacent principle and reliability principles. The concrete situation teaching method adopted and effective contain thus several kinds :Establishing the thing has the situation, with situation inspire feeling; Establish the showbiz teaching situation, with the situation intense emotion; Imitate the role situation, with the affection of situation ;Establish the spot situation, living the feeling with the situation ;Establish the problem situation, touch the feeling with the situation ;Speak the modern history and political geographies synthesizes to turn. In the practice, we found that the fitting situation can stir up to study t he interest, raise the teaching result; contribute to the overall implementation history teaching target and make the student's initiative get full exertive; make the student's character get the exaltation; make the student's frontier spirit and the innovation abilities get the development by the creation of the reasonable and fitting situation. Although The situation in the teaching have the important function, Situation teaching should not be over-emphasize, otherwise, it may be result in the effect of quick knowledge accumulation via indirect experience be denied, To achieve it, the following should be noticed: 1, to have the explicit target .2, don't want to be for the situation but situations. 3,to become the harmonious mutually agreeable relation of teacher and pupil, carry on the emotion education.
