The development of the country needs high-quality personnel as a guarantee and the revitalization of vocational education, as an all-round improvement of labor, is an effective policy for the country to grow in power. Thus, secondary vocational education plays a significant part of our national education system and lifelong education system, which highlights its growing importance nowadays. However, the status of vocational education is at a relative disadvantage in terms of policy and funding allocated to the entire education system. Our investments in vocational education are far lower than that in general education, which has the much higher proportion of financial allocation. It leads to a result that funding in secondary vocational education has been in a difficult situation, Secondary vocational education has been weakened with lack of teaching resources in varying degrees and the development of vocational education is suffering the lack of financial input dilemma. Therefore, how to promote the healthy development of secondary vocational education under the current financial input mechanism is a practical and theoretically significant topic.The paper studies Shenzhen secondary vocational education through in-depth analysis of current development of vocational education, vocational education input policy, vocational education development model under current financial input mechanism, effectiveness of existing financial input mechanism in vocational education and finally gives some feasible proposals of improving and perfecting the financial input mechanism of secondary vocational education.
