With the continuous optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure of the financial industry,the ability requirements of financial graduates in secondary vocational schools have also changed.However,the development of financial major in secondary vocational schools in Jilin Province still follows the traditional model,which makes the trained talents increasingly unable to meet the needs of economic and social development and reform.For example,financial institutions,especially private banks and village banks,as well as small and medium-sized non-bank financial institutions and enterprises,generally have gaps in financial talents.Therefore,it is urgent to optimize the existing training mode of secondary vocational talents to meet the demand for talents under the new situation of the financial industry.This paper adopts the idea of "defining problems-theoretical construction-current situation analysis-experience reference-countermeasures proposed”and divides the whole research into five parts:The first part discusses the research background,research purpose,research significance,research trends at home and abroad,the main contents and main methods of the research.The second part clarifies the relevant concepts of secondary vocational education and financial professional development model,focusing on the relationship between industrial structure optimization and upgrading and vocational education,providing theoretical basis for the paper.The third part,through questionnaire survey and Jilin Statistical Yearbook,summarizes the existing problems of financial professional development mode in Jilin secondary vocational schools as follows:training objectives and labor demand structure do not match,curriculum system and industrial structure do not match,the structure of teachers is unreasonable,the cooperation between schools and enterprises is not in place.The fourth part discusses the main experience of financial specialty development in Vocational and technical education at home and abroad,which can provide reference for the development of financial specialty in secondary vocational schools in Jilin Province.The fifth part,in order to better promote the rapid development of financial education in secondary vocational schools in Jilin Province,and to improve the competitiveness of financial specialty in secondary vocational schools in Jilin Province and the ability to serve the economic development of Jilin Province,in view of the existing problems,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:firstly,clarify the orientation of running schools and improve the training objectives;secondly,adjust the professional settings and optimize the curriculum system;thirdly,strengthen the construction of teachers and increase the proportion of double-qualified teachers;fourthly,establish the comparative advantages of vocational education and cooperate with schools and enterprises to educate people,so as to provide financial professional human resources for the sustainable and stable development of Jilin Province's economy with high quality and quantity.
