Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform of geography teaching, Geography teaching has been significantly improved. But the main teaching method of cramming does not withdraw from the Middle school’ geography classroom. The teacher is often the leading role in the Geography teaching process, the teacher teach knowledge and the students memorise and understand knowledge by themselves, or the teacher directly thrown problem and students think about it and answer it. The style of geography learning will makes students lack the awareness of geographical problems if it exist long time. Students can not take the initiative to learn and master the knowledge, can only passively accept it, this has always been the shortcomings of examination- oriented education. But the basic education curriculum reform advocates the inquiry learning of the students, let students actively participate in the classroom, teachers give proper guidance will be fine. actually is let teachers to actively cultivate the students’ problem consciousness. Make the students to find problems in their classrooms by themselves, dare to put forward their problems, and use the existing knowledge or the new knowledge to answer the question. so as to achieve the goal of initiative to explore the problems, divergent thinking in the inquiry process,and experience the fun of learning.This paper is based on the high school geography classroom At the same time on the basis of draw the relevant research’ experience and lessons using investigation method, take the observation method、the quantitative analysis method、literature research method、testmethod and so on for the related research. In this paper, understanding the research background at home and abroad at first, then define the related concepts of what is the problem awareness, understand the association between Inquiry learningand problem consciousness. The part of practice is mainly through the student’ questionnaire and teacher’ individual interviews to understand and analyze the influencing factors of the formation of the students’ question consciousness. At the same time the author through the inculcation of a contrast experiment clearlymake sure whether theproblemconsciousness has positive effects on students’ development, Of course the role is not only reflected in performance but also reflected in the learning attitude, ability and so on, Through the experiment 、questionnaire、interviews and so on to find out the key factors influence the students’ problem consciousness’ main factors and analysis it. The last part of the paper is mainly focuses on the factors affecting improve students’ problem consciousness to put forward to the effective suggestions for improvement of the Middle school students’ problem consciousness. The experimental result show that the Middle high school students problem consciousness cultivation has positive role in the comprehensive quality of students, including the promotion of scores. I expect that the research can draw most educators’ attention to training problem consciousness of the class, can promote teachers to improve geography teaching mode, and more and more educator woker can better enrich the study of the related topic, providing effective reference for the geography teachers and other subject teachers and scholars who do research related to this theory and practice about it.
