As the basic education curriculum reform,curriculum standards,textbooks and examinations are constantly exploring changes,it's a certain challenge to geography teachers.It's also very important for those teachers to have a strong awareness of teaching and researching problems if they want to adapt to the situation.If they can realize the problem,express and solve it,they may grow up more quickly and the overall quality of teachers will be improved.The study aims to understand the situation of middle school geography teachers' awareness of teaching and researching 'problem,providing a reference to raising awareness of exploring the method which can raise their problem awareness,in addition,promote the teacher education and the construction of teachers.The literature research and the questionnaire survey method are used.The paper can be divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduced the research background,the significance,the dynamics,it's content and method.In the second part,the authors investigate the problem consciousness of Changsha geography teachers,deal with the data and draw the conclusion.In the third part,in order to reveal the main factor,the author investigated the Changsha middle school geography teacher on the factors of geography teachers' teaching and researching consciousness.In the fourth Part,based on the third chapter and the fourth chapter of the survey results,with reference to the relevant literature,the Geography teacher question Consciousness enhancement method carries on the discussion on the teacher and the school level.The last part is the conclusion,summarizing the research results and rethinking the research innovation and insufficiency.The research shows that:The consciousness level of teaching and research in Changsha geography teachers needs to be improved.Different teacher group problem consciousness level has difference,which in sex and academic record does not show obviously.Among the factors that influence the level of the problem consciousness,the intermal growth motivation of teachers is the most important factor.Secondly,the family environment has a great influence on it,and the school and social factors are as followed.For the actual situation,refer to the relevant literature.Strategies to improve teachers ' awareness of problems are:as far as teachers themselves are conceemed,teachers should take the initiative to explore the resources of geography curriculum,accumulate teaching materials,consciously improve the ability of thinking,carefully study the curriculum standard,dig into the connotation of teaching material,do well the design before class,and record the reflection after class in time.Teachers should pay attention to communication and speak humbly.From the school administrator's point of view:School administrators should create a democratic and comfortable campus atmosphere,establish a "discovery problem"-oriented incentive mechanism to encourage-geographical teachers.to pay attention to teaching issues awareness,and do a good job trarining with implementation of post guidance.
