Currently, from the constraint of environment and resource, the environmental carrying capacity of our country has been at or near the ceiling. It is the general trend of development to focus on ecological civilization construction, to promote advanced ecological culture in the whole society and to build the idea of ecological civilization. Middle school students are not only the future, but also the main force of the ecological civilization construction. Only middle school students are cultivated with a strong sense of environmental and resources crisis awareness, can we meet the needs of our country’s current and future ecological civilization construction and development. Therefore, strengthening the education of middle school students’ sense of the environment and resources crisis is of great significance in ecological civilization construction.The knowledge structure and special function of secondary geography makes geography teaching become one of the important position of middle school students’ sense of environmental and resource’ unexpected development education. With the reform of examination and enrollment system, how to take advantage of geography teaching to proceed sense of environmental and resource crisis education during geography teaching in middle school becomes a profound and urgent task.This thesis centers upon the theme of the hardship consciousness education, with a view to do a systematic study of how to develop the sense of hardship education. The introduction part discusses on the research background, purpose and methods. The main text is divided into four parts: The first part explains the origin of sense of urgency anxiety and the sense of hardships education’s concept, research status, support theory, the importance and feasibility of sense of hardships education during middle school geography teaching;The second part adopt the method of questionnaire, interviews and other resources to collect and analyze the status and education issues of the education of hardship consciousness. Moreover, it analyzes the main reasons for existing problems; Combined with geography teaching practical, in the third part, countermeasure of how to develop and enhance the sense of hardship education are put forward in view of the existing problems; Part IV designed a section of cases about the education of hardship consciousness. At last, some of the issues are raised about the education of hardship consciousness during middle school geography teaching that need attention.I hope that the emphasis on education of environmental and resource crisis sense can be strengthened through the research of this paper, and then improve the sense of middle school students’ Suffering consciousness, through which can further promote the construction of ecological civilization.
