The period of students studying in primary school has a great influence on their lifelong development. This phase is the first stage for students to learn the basic knowledge,the basic skills and preparing for the future life. Primary schools should promote the harmonious development of students’ body and mind, pay attention to the all-round development of each student, at the same time lay emphasis on their learning initiative, make students to participate in studying throughout the learning process, and enable them to willing to learn and has the willingness to learn. However, from the past experience and the results of the existing research, the author found that some students in primary school are lack of the learning motivation and learning interest and they are weary of studying in our country. It is obvious that student who is weary of studying in primary school has disabilities affect not only on the learning of basic knowledge and skills, but also the cultivation of positive emotion, attitude and values.Through the method of questionnaire and interview, this study investigates the current situation of weariness of 226 students in three primary schools in Dalian. The result shows that, higher grades students in these elementary schools exist some bad learning behavior: inattention in class, fails to fully participate in learning activities in classroom, disrupt the classroom discipline, spend little or any time to study in their spare time, delay or do not do their homework, copy homework and escape school, and so on. Students also have some negative psychology, such as, the learning attitude of some students is not serious, they lack of interest in learning, they are boring when they are learning and they think studying is as dry as a chip. There are some students feel uncomfortable when they are learning. At the same time, the author of this paper use the SPSS software on the questionnaire data and the results showed that there are about 18% students on higher grades in primary school are weary of studying on different degree. In addition, there is significant grade and achievement difference about the degree of being weary of students, but there is no school and gender difference.Through the analysis of the above problems, the author of this paper found that the causes of students being weary of studying include social factor, family factor, school education and personal factor. According to these reasons, the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasures. First of all, all parties should make joint efforts to reduce the bad influence of social environment on student learning. Secondly, parents should change their mind and change the way of family education. Finally, schools should deepen teaching reform to help the student who is weary of studying in many ways. Specifically, the school can follow the six aspects: teacher should transform the mode of their work and improve the work efficiency, change their evaluation concept and play a positive role of evaluation, transform the mode of teaching and stimulate students’ learning motivation. Teachers should also pay attention to cultivate students’ will and according to the actual situation of students to put forward reasonable education expectation. At the same time, teacher should strengthen the parent-school cooperative and form combined force of education. Furthermore, the author also discusses the causes of being weary of studying of students who have different achievement, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
