school-weary of students is a common phenomenon in nowadays high school education specially in liberal arts classes. In this paper, the author conducted a survey in the liberal arts classes of the high school of hers and found out that it's caused by several comprehensive reasons such as schools, students themselves, and families. The author also took a teaching experiment and according to survey results and experimental data analysis, the author consider that schools can take the Strategy of "Education Concept Renewing" and "Methods Teaching".Teachers should take some useful measures to create a better study environment and cultivate students'confidence, and do well in ideological work. Teachers also have to take an overall understanding of situation in order to improve teaching methods. There should be more chemical extracurricular activities. Teachers ought to bring characteristic's chemistry into fully play in chemistry study, and make students adjust their vision of study, also help them to establish a correct outlook on life and values. All the measures are taken to explicit the learning goals, make students with school-weary feel the love from teachers who would help them overcome the psychological barriers of studying chemistry and recognize the importance of chemistry study. Teachers have to guide the students how to learn and cultivate the spirit of innovation and consciousness of practicing. Students will have a great progress in success with the sense of achievement and be sparked their curiosity about chemistry. In author's opinion, teachers have to renew their teaching concepts, develop their education attitude and behavior. Teachers also have to Correct the position of the purpose of students'chemistry learning, Guide students with the right view of life and values to treat the chemical subject learning. The teachers ought to help students to solve problems with Chemical thinking and methods even the skills from chemistry study, and make Liberal arts students benefit from chemistry learning for lifelong, understand the fun of learning chemistry and get the sentiment of life from chemistry learning. Our teachers should try best to make students turn into learning and loving chemistry from school-weary. |
