In recent years,the filed of the preschool education sets off a upsurge in the research and practice of inquiry teaching, but the practice and research of inquiry teaching of percussion is very little.So, the author further studys the field as a new teacher with action research method from the micro perspective to analyze the new teachers’ problems encountered in the process of the implementation of the activities, and provides a solution to the problem of reference for future practice of new teachers.The inquiry teaching of percussion in the research is based on the theory of experience teaching of percussion. It means a musical work is a problem and a percussion teaching activity is divided into two classes. The first class mainly lets the children feel the music with the body movement through imitative learning and the second class is mainly to make children shift the first class music experience to play percussion.If children can finally smooth, vivid played this work that was considered the inquiry activity of the problem had been solved.This research is based on the recent five classical percussion activity classes, slightly changing in accordance with the requirements of the inquiry teaching after observing,and then select a top class as practice object in the teaching process.The author contantly discusses with research team on the problem encountered in the research, correcting the original teaching design and problems in the research. In the fact, it’s real a spiral process of a Plan-Action-Reflection-Correction-Replan-Reaction.Finally, after the sort and summary of raw data, the author analyzes the problem according to two parts, which are the music feeling stage and music performance stage in the process of the inquiry teaching of percussion, and uses the teaching case, teachers’research, reflection log and interviews as the main analysis of the material. In the result and discussion section, the author does the growth of teachers and children’s development in detail. On the development of the teachers, one is the growth of teachers’ teaching ability, another is to do a deep reflection on the inquiry teaching of percussion, including the main conditions, the problem context, children experience preparation, good interaction on the teacher and children, the establishment of a regular of handling the instruments, liberal democratic atmosphere and good research environment. Type of inquiry teaching of percussion is collective inquiry, humanities and art inquiry, directional inquiry and reproduce inquiry. Thinking characteristic of children is analogical thinking. The growth of young children is decided by the percussion improvisational ability test results. The results show that preschool percussion improvisational ability has been improved significantly after the teaching,the music characteristic and performance characteristic of the measured data have shown significant difference after this research. Furthermore, the author also discusses the value of inquiry percussion teaching on the participation of children and teachers, and puts forward related suggestions in order to provide a new perspective and practical reference for the inquiry teaching of percussion of kindergarten.
