The international student market is changing. A large number of opportunities for study abroad is contributing to rising competition in the international student market. In order to attract the growing number of prospective students seeking higher education, individual institutions and national governments are looking to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Thus, they are developing and implementing targeted recruitment strategies to grow new markets or expand in already established ones. Motivational factors in the decision-making process for student application to an overseas destination include employment and residency opportunities, the quality of the’ student experience’, including accommodation and social activities, and the costs associated with an international education.China is developing rapidly and more and more works on strengthening the path of diplomatic relations and cultural exchange programs. With the aim to internationalize the education system, China is offering more and more scholarship to the international students in order to spread the Chinese culture all over the world. Besides China is successful winning the recognition by the developing countries in Asia, Africa and Europe while having more and more cultural exchange programs. International education has become important component of universities in China and the value is improved through government support. Universities in China are giving more importance to academic exchange and cooperation with foreign universities. Many universities in China are hosting more flock of international students and have signed agreements with more international universities and promoting international exchange in higher education. It is good for students to study in foreign universities in order to get more exposure and experiences.The purpose of this study was to examine problems of international students during their studies China and what strategies do international students propose for solving them.The methodology used in this study was qualitative based on 200 interviews in order to show problems of international students in academics and social educational environment in China and to know what international students propose to ameliorate all the problems.The findings of this paper proved that all the international students meet the same academic problems during their studies like:language (HSK), research methodology, lack of information (blocked internet), social misunderstanding etc. The policy recommendations were made to improve Educational understanding for International Students in China for policy makers and university’s staff as well.
