A Study On Development Strategy Of China Medical Social Work

With the reform of the medical system, the change of the medical model, the conflicts between the doctor-patient relationship,medical social work in medical system applicat ion, but due to various reasons, the development of China’s mainland medical social work is not satisfactory, medical social work can’t provide support for doctors and patients in the health system, unable to carry out services for patients to integrate resources,failed to build bridges for patients and doctors.The C foundation is a civil practical type of non-public foundation, dedicated to children with complex congenital heart disease to provide social work service. After three years of exploration, C Foundation in the development of medical social work has developed its own unique model of development, and has made certain achievements, and its development strategy worthy of our study and research.In this study, the C foundation social work department as a case, social support theory and organizat ional development theory as the theoretical perspective, in the basic understanding of C Foundation’s medical social work services, analyze C Foundation in the process of developing medical social work of the external and internal system which support, and department of internal which is how works, and the advantages and difficulties C Foundation for development of Medical Social work has faced.Then, summary the strategy that C foundation has taken in the process of development of medical social work. Finally, I tried to develop a strategy which is suitable for our country to development medical social work.from the track of C Foundation in the development of medical social work,I found that the development of China medical social work should work in two ways. On the one hand, by outward integrat ion of resources, access to policy support at the national level, to get support from the community level in the health care system, schools, the community and the relevant cooperation unit; On the other hand, to improve internal service quality, professional medical social work team, with the help of interns and volunteers to carry out social work services for children and parents, to provide social case w ork, group work and community work as auxiliary service. Medical social work through integrating funds, the material resources to the children and their parents, providing psychological, social support for the children and their parents to achieve its own development.
