| Operation solving ability is one of the basic mathematical abilities that senior high school students should have. In the “Ordinary high school mathematics curriculum standard(Experiment)â€, operation ability in the former syllabus was converted into operation solving ability. It contained a more extensive meaning, which operation solving ability not only includes the traditional operation ability, but also includes the ability to tap the topic information, the ability to choose operation method, the ability of using the mathematics thought method and the ability of mathematical modeling. The new curriculum has put the development of students’ mathematical ability as one of the most important teaching objectives. It also proposed the systemic and clear requirements. Therefore, Select the topic to research has certain practical significance.This paper studied senior high school students of Hui,Dongxiang and Han Nationality in minority area, Through relevant literature and test. The author come to a conclusion that operation solving ability of senior high school students in minority area should be improved further, and finally puts forward some countermeasures to improve this situation.The survey results show:(1) for the numerical calculation, Hui, Dongxiang and Han students could master well, complete the basic requirements in the curriculum standard. However, as for the computation formula, Hui, Dongxiang students have some problems of equation simplification formula. They have vague memory of concepts,performance concepts, formulas, rules, and the theorems.(2) Han students’ operation solving ability especially the choice of operation method is better than the Hui students.For Hui and Dongxiang students, they lack of rational thinking in operation and can’t grasp algorithm well. Lack of the ability to tap the topic information and misread topic information(4) Han students’ operation solving ability especially the ability to the thinking method is better than the Hui students, the Hui students’ is higher than Dongxiang students.(5) Dongxiang and Hui students lack of reflection during the process.(6) students in ethnic minority areas do not pay attention to the operation habits and skills during the process of solving. For example: illegible and careless handwriting,writes, lacking of skills, and frequently using of calculators. Through the study also found that three kinds of national students solving arithmetic and their mathematicalformula, concept, law, theorem of the consolidation degree of understanding, the ability to relate to other;The cultivation of the operation habit, the usage of the calculator, the junior middle school, high school degree of cohesion between knowledge and degree of teachers’ attention to solving arithmetic are closely related.According to the calculation situation of senior high school students in minority area, the author raises the countermeasures of operation solving ability in the minority area high school students: to strengthen the students basic knowledge, computer teaching; to strengthen the training of students and mastering the operation skills and methods; to guide the students to use the basic mathematical ideas; to pay attention to cultivate the students’ interest in operation; to combine junior high school knowledge with senior high school; to develop good computing habits and improve students’ reflecting ability,etc. |
