Three Rural Issues is a significant problem concerning reform and opening,as well as the comprehensive construction of well-off society.The stability of rural area is related to the stability of the whole country;the well-off farmer is connected to the well-off national people;the modernization of agriculture is related to the modernization of the whole national economy.In the process of long-term service for "Three Rural Issues",agricultural colleges and universities formed its own irreplaceable influence,agricultural colleges scientific technology not only refers to the discussion and promotion of agricultural science and technology,but also including the rural human resource training.In contrast, the modernization of rural area provides a new developing opportunity for agricultural colleges and universities.However,China agricultural colleges itself exist many restricting factors both in internal and external, which restrict its in the role of science and technology service.The agriculture modernization of America benefites from the agricultural colleges as the main service system of agriculture.This article attempts to do a comparative study of agricultural service pattern between American and Chinese agricultural colleges,to explore the experience of American agricultural colleges servicing for its agriculture and its reference to our country,and then to promote our country’s agricultural colleges in the service of agriculture.In this paper, theme part is the second to the fifth chapter.At first, having a basic overview of the agricultural service pattern related to American agricultural colleges,including the United States agriculture formation and characteristics of "trinity" model, and the basic frame of the model and operation management. Next,it comes to the agricultural service pattern of Chinese agricultural colleges, including current situation and characteristics of the model, as well as the problems and limitations. Then, the article analyzes the elements of agricultural operating modes of the service, mainly including three aspects:one is the comparison of the policies and regulations and its sources of funds; The second is the comparison of agricultural science and education system and popularizing people’s personnel overall quality; Three is the comparison of promoting objects and their contents. Finally, based on the above research contents, this paper obtained the enlightenment and reference to agricultural colleges in our country from the agricultural service pattern of agricultural colleges in the United States, one is to improve the operation mechanism in the service of agriculture; The second is to reform the research mechanism, promoting the transformation of achievements, for the service to sources provide plenty of achievements; three is to the choice of agricultural service form; Fourth, service agriculture must adhere to market-oriented operation mode.
