| Resilience refers to the good adaption and respond effectively in the face ofdifficulties, frustration or other major traumatic event of the individual, and it wasaffected by both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, and showed differently. Highervocational college students, as a special group of college students, is the main forcewho will do technical work, how they deal with the pressure and challenges of mentalstate is very important. The family is the first contact with the external environment ofa person from his or hers birth, and parents may be the most influence to theindividual. As children’s first teachers, parents take the most important roles in thedevelopment of a person’s resilience, and they are also play the most important rolesas the protection factor of a person’s resilience. Self concept is the stable perceptionabout various aspects of himself or herself, which is formed in the family education orsocial environment, and it make a essential affection in deal with difficulties in aspecial environment. Which inspired of the studies before, this paper take theself concept into account of the relationship of resilience and parental rearing styles,and discuss the three factors in generally.This study used stratified random sampling method, a questionnaire survey wasconducted from Career Academy in Shandong, Shandong Institute of Commerce andTechnology in the sample of380students. Totally760questionnaires were sent out.The main use of S EMBU C〠TSCS and CD RISC scale. Using analysis ofvariance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other statistical methodson the relationship between parental rearing style, self concept and resilience isstudied, draw the following conclusions:1. Vocational college students resilience overall in the medium high level,and more stable. In the gender dimension, strength and positive factorof resilience of vocational college students, female students scored significantlyhigher than male students. From the urban and rural areas dimension, there aresignificant differences only in optimism that a factor of resilience ofHigher Vocational College Students in city, students scored significantlyhigher than rural students. From the professional dimension, the total scoreand each factor score of resilience of liberal arts students is significantly higher than that of the science students. While in grade and whether thechild in this aspect the difference is not remarkable resilience score.2.Each dimension showed significant correlation between total score ofresilience and parental rearing patterns of Higher Vocational College Students,Parental rearing patterns in various dimensions of father warmth, mother warmthand resilience has significant positive correlation, father refused, the mother refusedto show significant negative correlation with all dimensions of resilience,overprotection, father mother’s excessive protection and toughness, strengthand resilience scores showed significant negative correlation, has nothing todo with the optimism factor. Among them, father’s emotional warmth and mother’semotional warmth can positively predict the total score and each factor ofresilience, father refused to factor negatively predict resilience and strengthfactor score.3.There are significant positive correlation between the self concept and thescores of resilience and its dimensions of higher vocational college students, inaddition to self criticism factor, other dimensions of self concept and resilience inboth the total score and each dimension has significant positive correlation. Atthe same time, the concept of self have significant positive predictive effecton total score and each dimension of psychological resilience.4. Higher vocational college students self concept between parentingstyles and resilience to the intermediary effect is significant, between a mother’semotional warmth and resilience to score and each dimension is a part ofthe intermediary role, plays a partial mediating role between father refused andresilience and strength factor score. |
