In YunCheng this area of the rich and talent land, raised a personwho is called ShunDi such a great forefather of the Chinese traditionalmoral education. From the point of the two cores of traditional culture,Shun is not only the earliest initiator of morality, but also the firstimplementation of enlightenment;From the two major characteristicsof Chinese traditional education, Shun is not only the first model of avirtue,but also an opening of education politicised.Shun put his ideasinto practice filial piety, and opened a new era of Chinese culture;Shun’s political practice of managing state affairs by ethics, laid thenature of a combination of Chinese traditional moral and politicaleducation, as well as the education development of the mainstreampath of "moral politics".ShunDi’s filial piety education, pioneered by the "honesty, filialpiety, neutralization, benevolence" core values, and get home by theindividual to the governing system, that is, from "honesty" to cultivateone’s morality to "filial piety" to maintain the family,from"neutralization" to governing the country to the ultimate"benevolence" with rule the whole world, constituting the ShunDi’s acomplete and logic of chain of filial piety education.It is the idealorigin of the later Confucianism who claimed "cultivate own morality, maintain the family,govern the country and rule the wholeworld",which provides a solid theoretical foundation;His threeprecious practical path, that is,the implementation of "the educationof five typical family ethics", of "the social moral education ofhardworking, trustworthy and helping each other", of "the politicaleducation of diligence to the country states and appointment thegood talents",started a new era of on behalf of the Chinese nationmanaging state affairs by ethics, which has the significance ofmilestone. It is the root of Chinese traditional moral education,andeducation assets of inexhaustible and intangible.It contains "basedon filial piety","the good faith is supreme", such as ethics, for ourpresent moral chaos and moral dilemma, provides a goodsolution.Filial piety education of ShunDi, with several typicalcharacteristics, namely, beginning,demonstration, universality,initiative. Shun is a leading figure on Chinese traditional moraleducation, created the beginning of the Chinese traditional filial pietyeducation, also is an example of the model to practice filial piety, butalso a practitioner of ethic education and political education; Histhought of filial piety education is a kind of pursuit to morality,spontaneous for morality,and consciously compensating the goodbehavior actively,with cultural significance of everlasting anduniversal.Shun filial piety education, as a valuable source of Chinesetraditional moral education, to teach people honoringancestors,inheriting moral culture and the filial piety education, hasthe practical significance of the extraordinary, its value is not onlyreflected in solving the ethical dilemma which has realistic significance to YunCheng, more is to the whole country which calledvirtue and ethics, but filled with moral chaos, with extraordinaryrescue value.
