With the further development of educationalinformation,online learning has become the new way of learning at the age of internet. Yunnan University introduced a network teaching platform (E-learning) from the Institute of educational technology in Tsinghuain2009, the teaching resources on the platform which act as the common repository of Yunnan University has provided a reference for the teachers and students.Not only elaborate courses on provincial and university level of Yunnan University and Tsinghua University, but also the online courses and other reference materials of famous school as MIT, Utah State University were included. After accessing the resource on the platform and through the enquire to the students around, I found out that though there are many resources on the platform, but the use of them are unsatisfactory. Why school has spent lots of money to purchase the school’s resources but it has been such a huge waste?First, understand the use of other colleges and universities online teaching resources as well as thereasons for the low utilization rate literature review,draw a rough outline of the interview and questionnaire. Through the field survey of the teaching resource platform, I get the general situation of hardware investment, construction and management. Through interviews and questionnaires,Iexplorefrom the perspective of the school administration and the teachers and students of the reasons for ineffective use of resources, as well as their attitudes towards teaching resources, recommendations and demandsThe author investigated to solve these problems. First, understanding the reasons for the low utilization rate of usage and other schools online teaching resources through a literature review, and using teaching resources of Yunnan University on E-learning platform as research paradigms, then explored the reason of ineffective use of resources from the perspective of the school as well as teachers and students, as well as their attitude towards online teaching resources, suggestions and needs. Through investigation and analysis, the current network teaching resource problems are:1. school administration are lack of awareness, the efforts of propaganda, investment of founding and hardware, the efforts of regulatory;2. The quality of teaching resources haven’t meet the requirement, the design of the platform is not reasonable;3. Teachers pay too much attention on research but not teaching;4. Students’information literacy is low, they have less psychological demands.Therefore, the author puts forward new ideas and repository construction and suggestions for improvement,1. Develop a resource library building technical specifications and "sub-school sub-discipline" construction guidelines;2. Establish a comprehensive monitoring system in school;3. Improve school funding, and increase publicity;4. Teachers improve the competitiveness to play a guiding role for the students;5. Improve students’ information literacy and psychological needs. Recommendations can provide a reference for the construction of Yunnan University and other colleges repository. |
