The class management in the training institute, a highly competitivemarket, has always been a focus in the research field. It is the source of survivaland development. When I was teaching for it I tasted various lessons about classmanagement and realized how dangerous the inappropriate management could beto students’ health, school’s survival and teachers’ professional growth. Thus, Iadopt narrative research with my class management stories as the original materialand the psychological contract theory as the theoretical basis to illustrate thepsychological contract’s forming procedure, from the lack of it to it’s forming andits consolidating between teachers and students. The first chapter tells stories in three themes, together with a background, indicating lack of psychological contract that makes teachers and students tiredwho were meant to build a harmonious class ecology together. The first theme isSouls are crying. With three specific stories about disciplines and study difficulties,it displays how the inexperienced teacher solved them, which hurt students’ heartin some extent. Based on the stories in part two, part three continues to display thedevelopment of the stories, indicating the teacher realized her managementproblem and tried to change the strategies which finally built the soul bridgebetween her and the students. Part four is Heart to heart, which displays theeffective countermeasures the teacher took to protect the well-developing classmanagement. Chapter two analyzes the stories in chapter one from the view of thepsychological contract theory and shows its continuous forming procedure, that is,from a lack of the use of the theory in the class management to its forming andprotecting. Part one analyzes why souls are crying. Teachers know their ownresponsibilities and obligations but can not perform them due to the lack ofpsychological contract. Part two analyzes how the teacher used the theory to builda rainbow, that is the contract between them, bringing them a win-win cooperation and finally led them to an ecological class harmony. The third chapter analyzesfactors of psychological contract and gives countermeasures to improve theefficiency of class management, intending to regain classes’ original value of life.
