Digital Sports is a new concept and it is a product of sports, technology and development of the times. It is perfect combined between the IT, telecommunications, Internet technology with physical exercise, sports and fitness, interactive entertainment. In the new historical period, as the sports industry grows and IT advances, a combination of both creates digital sports full of charm and imagination, but also opens up a new sport sky. In this paper, against the background of our national sport- table tennis, I study Table tennis ball landing point estimation in order to realize Table Tennis digitization based on Time Difference of Arrival(TDOA) passive location.TDOA is typical of passive positioning which has a high positioning accuracy, widely used in the military field. This is the first time that TDOA location method will be applied to Table tennis ball landing point estimation and mathematical model of the hyperbolic equations of TDOA location method is set up; For solving the mathematical model in theory, 6 kinds of algorithms are detailed analyzed: SX algorithm, Friedlander algorithm, Fang algorithm, Chan algorithm, Taylor algorithm and direct algorithm, and their characteristics and applicable conditions are summarized.By TDOA mathematical model derives mathematical model of positioning accuracy between Distribution of sensors, sensor position precision, time delay estimation precision. Application MATLAB software for numerical simulation, the relationship with the sensor positioning accuracy and baseline angle, the baseline length is studied deeply. Come to the conclusion that the baseline Angle, the length of baseline and the relationship between the positioning accuracy and draws a graph of positioning accuracy.On this basis, an experimental environment is built and it consists of table tennis, eddy current acceleration sensor, an oscilloscope and a computer. Several sets of system noise, table tennis and heavy hammer incentives vibration signal and interference signal data are collected.Table tennis and typical vibration signal interference signals are analyze in the time domain and frequency domain. Ping-pong table vibration transmission speed is estimated. In order to lay a solid foundation for achieving a reliable table tennis ball landing point estimation.According to theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results and table tennis characteristics, sensor distribution optimization scheme of table tennis ball landing point is put forward that the longest baseline scheme and baseline maximum angle scheme. Using the relevant experimental data, the simulation research is conducted on the optimization scheme respectively and draws two kinds of schemes of positioning precision of curve. Simulation results show that: the longest baseline cloth station program significantly higher than baseline maximum angle positioning accuracy cloth station program.The advantages and shortcomings of this thesis work were analyzed and summarized in this paper, and further perfect sensor layout and improving the positioning precision of measures and methods are pointed.
