With the advance of the comprehensive reform of basic education, English education reform has achieved great results based on the initiate of the third grade of Primary School. However, many problems are still to be concerned about in primary school English teaching. English classroom behavior becomes a focusing issue which scholars have given more and more considerations. Because classroom behavior affects effectiveness of students’ learning and the quality of English teaching directly. Consequently, the researches about primary school EFL teaching behaviors are booming up, and the successful researches are very rich. However,according to literature review, the current researches are seldom made from the perspective of the humanistic philosophy about classroom behaviors, which becomes the key content of this paper. The aims of this study are intended to reveal the present conditions of primary school English classroom behaviors, and define the appropriate primary school EFL teaching behaviors. This paper mainly focuses on the relevance research of primary school EFL teaching behaviors under the humanism perspective through the methods of observation, questionnaire and interview. All the research was produced on the data analysis from the observation,questionnaire and interview. In this study, the humanist education, children cognitive psychology, compulsory English Curriculum Standards are introduced as the research theories. During the study, the different behaviors of the teachers’ and students’ performance are observed scientifically. The research findings of the study can be listed as(1) students are found passive in learning;(2)teachers are lack of necessary concern about the students’ learning needs, and the exam-oriented education is still prevailing;(3)teacher’s educational philosophy and teaching behaviors are inconsistent. Based on these conclusions, the recommendations are suggested for improvement: focusing on students’ achievements must be changed into considering the growth of students, focusing on exam-oriented education into quality education, focusing on teacher’ self professional development into students’ growing needs. During teaching, teachers should cultivate the habits of work-reflection, summing up, acting research, and interacting with students.The research consists of five parts: introduction; theoretical bases; literature review; research design; the relevance analysis of primary school EFL teaching behaviors under the humanism perspective; conclusions.
