The Research And Implementation Of The IP Video Platform For Foreign Language Teaching In Universities

IP video is a kind of new media based on network technology and communication technology, advantages of IP video for its rich content, convenient operation, strong interaction has been widely used in national defense, medical, education and other fields.The current is a globalization and information era, between countries, political, economic and cultural exchanges have become increasingly close, the demand for foreign language talents is increasing, which prompted countries to universities foreign language education investment is increasing continuously. It make the new multimedia network technology in the application of universities foreign language teaching become a trend.In this paper, through the development of research on IP video technology and related standards and technologies, combined with the actual situation of Nanchang University, through analysis, research, planning, design, completed the construction of a campus IP video platform for foreign language teaching. In the scheme, the foreign language TV on live, Video on demand as the main content, put the modern network technology advantage into universities foreign language teaching. This paper mainly researched the related technologies of IP video application in foreign language teaching in university, besides, combined with the teaching objective, the platform add the credit system and anti cheating mechanism to make the better integrated into the foreign language teaching in universities.When the campus IP video platform for foreign language teaching is completed, it shall be convenient for the teachers and students access to the network language television and foreign language quality courses, and facilitate to create a good language learning environment, and improve the overall foreign language teaching level and the comprehensive strength of school.
