Chemical declarative knowledge is an important part of chemistry knowledge, it is the foundation of procedural knowledge and strategic knowledge. And because declarative knowledge is given priority to understanding and memory, and students are lack of effective method of study, so how to select and use appropriate teaching strategies is particularly important for teachers. For research of chemistry declarative knowledge teaching strategy, not only can guide teachers’ teaching, but also can improve the learning ability of students.This study takes 4 classes in the ninth grade 107 students of Yanji R junior school as subjects. Taking students’exercises and tests as the survey tool, use four kinds of methods:literature method, survey method, experimental method, interview method. Analyze the results of exercises and tests, explore teaching strategy of declarative knowledge selecting and using in teaching.Based on cognitive psychology to the classification of knowledge, point out the concept of declarative knowledge. Again through the characteristics and characterization of declarative knowledge, get the chemistry essence of declarative knowledge. According to the teaching of the declarative knowledge strategy to launch chemistry declarative knowledge acquisition, maintain and extraction of teaching strategy, at the same time use the strategy in the design of teaching practice.The results show that:experimental class is better than the control class in master of declarative knowledge, that is to say, the strategy used in experimental class is accurate, reasonable and practical. But the wrong topics also reflects the problems of the strategy itself. Including promotion strategy, Success generation strategy, organize teaching strategy. Although the three strategy models are correct, but still have some problems when applied in practical teaching of declarative knowledge. Analyzing the students common problems, main conclusions are below:(1) lack of stability of knowledge construction. (2) lack of strategy use. (3) lack of combination of declarative knowledge extraction and explorative thinking.In view of the problems in practice and the analysis of causes in teaching, put forward the following suggestions for the chemistry declarative knowledge teaching:(1) Teachers should select a reasonable teaching strategy in the practical teaching;(2) Teachers should fully consider various kinds of knowledge strategy;(3) Teachers should keep finding strategy problems in teaching process, strengthen the relationship between strategy and knowledge.
