In recent years, the region also are actively mining local cultural resources, but also the preparation of teaching materials, but because of the number of teachers, the education sector do not pay attention to this cause and course materials become useless, rich local cultural resources wasted. Nearly five years, Xiangyang local cultural resources to the education sector as part of the language included in the test examination scope, this aroused the attention of the various schools. This task fell to the body language teachers, language teachers in terms of writing, reading, and other practical activities of students were teaching the local culture. But according to some students to reflect, many teaching are just floating on the surface, there are still many problems.Therefore, this paper tries to use literature, observation, questionnaires, interviews from the perspective of the teachers teach and students learn to understand the perspective of the use of the current status of the local culture in Xiangyang city should be teaching them the language, the analysis of these problems in the middle, Finally, to find an effective response.In this paper, self questionnaire and interview outline to Xiangyang county-level city under the jurisdiction - should the city three junior (Chengguan Middle School, a leading school, the Han River Middle School) for the study, each drawn from each of the junior high school each year two classes, to extract the 1071 student survey, and of these three junior high school teacher questionnaire, a total of 75 teachers.
