The implementation of the imperial examination system had significant influence on the society in the Tang Dynasty, on the one hand, it provided the reserve force for talent selection, on the other hand, it provided great opportunities for civilian class to change their destiny. Chin-Shin Group,as the representative of social mobility, was active in the political arena, playing the legendary of the Kings and the ministers.In the Tang Dynasty imperial examination system, Chin-Shin branch becoming an outstanding one, is one of the most important subjects. This paper selected Meng Erdong "Deng-Ke-Ji-Kao correction", Xu yougen "<Deng-Ke-Ji-Kao correction> inve stigation" and scattered in the unearthed epitaph of scholars in Tang Dynasty(618-907) as the research sample. The total number is 2681. The study of Chin-Shin’ identity Discussed three kinds of identity,which is the identity of the expedition before the examination(family), the expedition of identity in the examination(Pupils, Xiang Gong), the expedition of identity after the examination(the official experience).This paper is divided into three parts that introduction, main body, conclusion.The introduction part take the academic history as the key point, including the imperial examination system of the Tang Dynasty, Chin-Shin identity research of the Tang Dynasty and the official way of Chin-Shin. More in-depth academic study on the Tang Dynasty imperial examination system, and the official way of Chin-Shin,but the research of the identity of Chin-Shin n the Dang Dynasty, especially the research on Pupils and Xiang Gong two identity has not been too many achievements. It is worth in-depth study of us. This paper uses literature method, comparative method, historical method and other research methods to analyze the Tang Dynasty imperial Achievers. By comparing the proportion of the different family background of the candidates in the admissions process, official way, and the official experience, through the system of representation, this paper explores the occurrence and evolution of the imperial examination system in tang dynasty and its influence on society.The text is divided into three chapters, respectively to the identity of the Dang Dynasty Chin-Shin. The first chapter discusses family background of the Dang Dynasty Chin-Shin. The second chapter discusses the Achievers’ identity the Tang Dynasty Chin-Shin. The third chapter discusses the officer status of the Tang Dynasty imperial scholars’ calendar.In the Tang Dynasty, the candidates were divided into two groups which is pupils and Xiang Gong. By comparing the two groups, pupils were on behalf of the school education, and Xiang Gong represented in social education. We analysis of the admission to the situation in the examination and the official experience after in the examination on the two groups. From the two group competition, we view the political, economic, cultural and other aspects of social development of the Tang Dynasty.The conclusion part summarizes the whole paper, the positive influence of the imperial examination system and its shortcomings The imperial examination provided the civilian class opportunities to be the officials, but the core national regime still master by the aristocratic officials. Due to the imperial examination becoming more and more important in the tang dynasty, Chin-Shin paid more attention to family education, encouraging the formation of the imperial family.
