By using the following method, documents and materials, questionnaire investigation and expert interview, to chase the countryside and analysis of the countryside junior middle school sports teaching situation, the article has shown the main problems in rural junior high school physical education teaching of Qinghai province, and also targeted putting forward the countermeasures and Suggestions inorder to provide reference for planning the school sports education department.377 students and 56 teacher from 12 junior middle schools in Datong rural area participated in this surrey,coming to the main conclusions like:(1) the problems during the rural junior high school female teachers in Qinghai province have small percentage, teachers’ title proportional distribution is not reasonable, the number of continuing education and the teachers’ office after training, teachers’ heavy workload, teachers pay deviation, benefits are not timely enough standard, scientific research is not enough attention, teachers’ burnout.(2) the students in those school have strong interest,their motivation is clear, they are longing for sports knowledge. Because of the lack of space equipment and single teaching content, students’ interest can’t be maintained result in lot of projects can’t be carried on smoothly.(3) the limitation of space, the lack of equipment, do not take the leadership’s attention the teaching method is obsolete, the theory of knowledge, too many students in P.E class, less projects, that students’ favorite class occupied by other disciplines the whole term which has a great influence on the quality of teaching.(4) the sports teaching environment is poor, can not meet the requirements of sports playgrounds, some schools only have a soil venue, all projects on this, some project are impossible to carry out, the education funds investment is insufficient, which not only affect the students’ interest and teachers’ teaching attitude, but also affect the teaching effect.From the investigation of Qinghai Province rural junior middle school sports teaching problems arising, some corresponding countermeasures are shown here:(1) the reasonable distribution of the proportion of male and female teachers, improve teachers’ treatment, strengthen teachers’ training.(2) due to the reasonable arrangement of teaching content, strengthen the exchange of teachers and students, to adopt flexible and varied teaching methods, let the students’ interest in physical education classes.(3) the competent department of education and school leaders should change educational ideas and set up the correct view on sports, sports should be brought into the important part of school education. Through the teacher’s in-service training and the field communication, studying the new teaching idea, the transformation of the mode of teaching, the education departments should seek the breakthrough of teaching quality.(4) education departments should increase the sports teaching funds, strengthen the construction of hardware facilities, optimize the physical infrastructure and promote sports activities normally carried out effectively. In order to chase. sustainable healthy development of rural junior high school in P.E to chase intensify reform of physical education as reference for education department, to promote the sports teaching to the next level.
