| During the 18 th congress, government leader proposed that a better increase of China’s economic can never be suspended from education. Education plays a valuable role in all aspects in today’s social operation. China should strictly follow the policy and regulation of our party and government to maximize the function of education in modernization development and personnel training. During this process, reform and innovation should be critically taken care. The higher educated quality could be useful to help student becoming more creative. In addition, we could easily notice from 18 th congress report that moral education turns to be rather important today.Nowadays, the most critical problem for universities is how to operate and develop ideological and political education especially for the students with sports talent. Sports specialty student is also be called high standard athlete student. According to the needs of the construction of the university high level sports team projects, and promote quality education which was approved by the Ministry of Education of College Students. Sports specialty students are recruited from students who are participating in the national college entrance examination student’s sports expertise and with higher annual school admissions requirements.At the present stage, there are 235 universities in China are qualified to recruit sport specialty students. Among all these 235 universities, there are 9 universities which are in the “985 plan” and 22 universities which are “221 universities”. In Hubei province, there are only 21 normal high school have right to have sports talent students. In this thesis, 7 universities in Hubei would be discussed which include HUST, CUG, HUE, WIT, WUT, HNU and WU. This thesis trying to invest the present situation of moral education and ideological status of sports talented students in these 7 universities through questionnaire. The reason which leads to this situation would also be analyzed. In the end, some suggestions about how to increase the moral education quality of sports talented students in universities in Hubei would be proposed. At present, China ratified Sports Students may enroll in colleges has 235, 985 colleges and universities to recruit Sports Students are 9, 211 colleges and universities to recruit Sports Students have 22. And approved by the Ministry of National Education of Hubei Sports Students are permitted to enroll only 21 colleges and universities, accounted for 9% of the country. The papers conduct research Sports Students are selected in 7 universities’ in Hubei. Seven universities are: Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China University of Geosciences, Huazhong Normal University, Hubei University of Economics, Wuhan Institute of Technology, Wuhan University of Technology. The paper using the way of the questionnaire to sports talented students of seven colleges’ ideological and political education and conduct investigations to understand the status of ideological Sports Students analyses causes of ideological and political education of the status. According to the status qua at this stage proposed strengthen ideological and political education of College Sports Students Ideological and Political Education in Hubei Province.On the basis of full investigation, mainly divided into six parts elaboration are: The first chapter is the introduction, mainly the background and significance of the issues raised by the study, research status, research ideas and research methods, which start on four aspects. The second chapter is an overview of college sports talented students, and a detailed analysis of the definition of college sports talented students, including the content and features of sports talented students; and to sports talented students, including the status and status of mental ideological and cultural learning. The third chapter is Sports Students Ideological and Political Education in the status quo, from two major aspects, one is the current Sports Students ideological and political situation, including sports talented students ideological and political surveys and major issues of Sports Students ideological and political existence; two is the current status quo Sports Students ideological and political education, including Sports Students Ideological and Political Education and Sports Students investigate major problems exist in the ideological and political education.
