Qingdao Sports Present Situation Investigation And Analysis And Suggestion

Sports venue is one of the preconditions of physical activity, which is crucial not only to the exercise quality of people but also to the improvement of athletic sports. It plays an important role in mass sports activity. On one hand, it reflects people’s life quality; on the other hand, it mirrors the development of sports. Qingdao’s sports level has long been on the forefront of sporting performance and field construction in Shandong province. Thus, to a certain extent, the construction of sports filed in Qingdao will have a direct influence on the development of Shandong’s sports industry. Qingdao is the most important city of Shandong Peninsula and its sports level will have effect on its public image. Therefore, it is of great necessity to improve its field construction and build a serial of high-quality and modern sports facility to hold large-scale sports events, in order to improve the city’s image. The holding of the 29th Olympic sailing events has provided a tremendous opportunity as well as challenge for Qingdao. Qingdao, taking this chance, has increased the investment in sports, which providing a hard foundation for biding for domestic and international major sporting evens. Qingdao hopes that sports could promote the friendly exchanges of people and contribute to the development of politics, economy and culture. However, despite of the fact that Qingdao has achieved rapid development in field construction in recent years, the quality and standard of the field still lag behind those of developed country, even those of the developed region in China. This thesis studies and analyzes the current situation of Qingdao’s sports venues by way of literature review, surveys, data analysis, logical analysis and other methods. Though the above efforts, the author concludes the current situation with which Qingdao is confronting, points out problems that need to be solved, and give suggestions based on specialized knowledge.First, the author gives an overview of situation of the sports venues in Qingdao, including the existing stock of sports field. Second, the author analyzes the situation from multiple aspects, such as the number of fields, site area and so on. Then, considering the investment operation of the fields, the author makes conclusions about rapid increase of field number and size, diversified operation, multiple sources of investment with involvement of company and private capital. Last, there are some suggestions:reduce the vacancy rate of sports fields and maximize the utilization of land resources so as to improve the quality and quantity of sports fields; make explicit clarification on the commonweal and infrastructure of sports field and facility; push on marketization reform to put the marketing-oriental allocation of resources into full play and encourage a conditional open market system; further strengthen the work of sports publicity and provide convenience for the development of field owner so as to attract more people to participate or work in sports. The development of sports industry would not only promote the development of entertainment industry related to sports but also contribute to the economic benefit of the society. It is hoped that the study of analysis of Qingdao’s sports venue would provide reference to the development of Qingdao’s sports.
