The Suggestions Of Confucianist "Study For Oneself" For Contemporary College Students’ Moral Education

As an important thought of self-cultivation, "study for oneself" has rich theoretical basis after the development for thousands of years. At present, China is in a special period of social transition, and Chinese values become diversified. The social reality influences contemporary college students’ correct moral values. Therefore, in order to draw lessons from the Confucian ancient way for self-education, the author analyzes javascriptvoid;the connotation of "study for oneself. Then, based on the social reality of social transition and in view of the current college students’ moral education of the defects on self-education, the author puts forward some Suggestions for contemporary college students’ moral education.Based on theoretical support of Confucian "study for oneself", and by means of four periods thoughts:the pre-qin Confucianism, song Confucianism, modern and contemporary Confucianism, the author analyzes the connotation of "study for oneself". At the same time, the author analyzes the educational concept of Marxism and contemporary ideological education to find out the traditional Confucian education thought and of man’s all-round development theory of Marxism about self moral cultivation target properties together. Secondly,making analysis to the effective experience of the contemporary college students’ moral education, demonstrating as the way of self education,the traditional education of Confucian "study for oneself still has strong vitality. It can puts forward the possibility of combination for traditional Confucian educational thoughts and contemporary college students moral education. Finally, through summarizing the practical cases and interview surveys of "study for oneself", together with the present situation of contemporary university students moral education, the author puts forward three feasible suggestions:To guide students to distinguish "righteousness and benefit", to Pay attention to moral practice curriculum,and to improve students’ ability of cultural consciousness.
