Study On Contemporary College Students’ Citizenship Education

Current,socialist market economy is gradually development and improvement, meanwhile, the citizen education of college students has become a hot social issue of common concern. Study the citizen education and the connotation of citizen society, analysis the status of College of citizenship education in our country and the existing problems, and explore how to improve college students’ civic education are not only conducive to all-round development of students’ quality, but also conducive to China’s socialist market economic development, the building of socialist spiritual civilization, socialist democracy and the rule of law construction, and building a harmonious socialist society.In this paper, college students are the main research object, who mainly refers to the acceptance of higher education and full-time college students. Ours purpose is to educate the college students with a consciousness and ability to take part in national affairs, a perfect personality of self-discipline, a kind of social practice activity of Chinese citizen’s consciousness and virtue with high-quality.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part: introduction. The writer introduce the basis and the significance of this thesis, the present situation and development of domestic and international research, the main innovation, research methods and research ideas.The second part: basic theory. Firstly, the basic concept of the citizen, citizen education definition, sort out the relationship between the civic education and traditional ideological and political education, and the importance of civic education of college students are discussed.The third part: according to the present situation of college students, the citizen education of our country should be included in the content, method and goal.The fourth part: This is the core part of this paper, points out that college students civic education in China in the aspects of contents, goals, methods and problems.The fifth part: After find out and analyze problems, the most important is to solve the problems. This part will mainly discuss how to implement students’ civic education. We should adhere to the principle of from the content, method, way and so on to improve our civic education of students, foster civic awareness of college students, to become a qualified citizen, which is the ultimate goal of this paper.Thus, paying attention to the civic education of college students cultivating the quality of citizens, and concerning about the country and the destiny of individuals are our duty of everyone.
