A Survey On The Project Of Aiding Poor Students Of The Independent Colleges In Chengdu Area

With further development and expansion of China’s higher education,the project of Independent College, aiding the poor students has entered into its mature period. The development and improvement of these aiding projects in higher education are not only the witness of the social progress but the ways to realize the educational fairness and to implement the policy concerning talents concepts. The aiding project of Independent Colleges undergoes many differences comparing to the other universities in Chinese surroundings owning to some features of the Independent Colleges. This thesis is taking cases of aiding the poor students in Independent College of Chengdu area as the object of the study. Based on the status quo of the project of aiding the poor students in China, this thesis carries out a survey on the previous cases of aiding the poor students by the Independent Colleges of Chengdu area. The main contents of the thesis include: firstly, the significance and the goal of investigation stated in this paper, the domestic and foreign literature and data on this study; secondly,the research methods and methodology,with which the paper raises 3 hypothesis on the basis of reviewing of the previous study and the relative theories.Then, this thesis puts forward the purpose, objects, and specific contents of its own survey on aiding the poor students project, in which the thesis lays out the design and implement of the study. Thereafter the paper focus on the analysis of the study and the verification of the hypothesis raised in this thesis, with which the cause of the problems happened in the implementation of the aiding the poor students would be analyzed. After that, the thesis would offer three countermeasures and suggestions in improving the status quo of implementing the project of aiding the poor students in Independent Colleges of Chengdu area. In the end, the thesis would draw a conclusion of the study.
