Study On The Status Quo And Countermeasures Of College Students'independent Entrepreneurship In Guangxi

Following the steps of the national innovation-driven strategy,China's economic development has entered the “new normal”.With both opportunities and challenges,our social development requires an increasing number of innovative talents.As the main force to boost China's construction in the future,college students have to improve their innovation ability which is closely related to the country's political,economic,cultural,social and ecological civilization development.Encouraged by national strategy “Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation”,college students start the trend of independent entrepreneurship.This can not only solve their own employment problems,but also provide more jobs to solve the employment problems more college students encounter.Objective: Through studying the existing literature and investigating the status quo of self-employment among college students in Guangxi universities,the students' entrepreneurial willingness and ability,the entrepreneurship education provided by the colleges and the entrepreneurship policies proposed by the government were known.On this basis,the problems and difficulties faced by the college students in Guangxi colleges and universities wereanalyzed in this paper and then corresponding countermeasures to solve them were put forward,so as to provide reference for the development of college students' independent entrepreneurship.Methods: 1,200 college students in Guangxi colleges and universities were selected to take part in the questionnaire survey.Meanwhile,10 self-employed college students were interviewed in order to understand the general information about the self-employment among college students in Guangxi colleges including the difficulties and requirements they have in this process.EpiData and SPSS were used to collect and process data.The investigation results were statistically analyzed and the interview records were summarized and analyzed.Results: Through questionnaires,interviews and related literature research,it can be found that the problems and difficulties faced by college students mainly include: firstly,students are limited by the traditional career preference---choosing “stable jobs” instead of risky pioneering work;secondly,they don't have sufficient confidence and believe they are lack of entrepreneurial experience and ability;thirdly,as students have no fixed income,they have relatively single sources of venture capital and poor ability to bear risk;fourth,the universities pay excessive attention to “employment rate” and their entrepreneurship education idea and practice are old-fashioned;fifth,the existing base construction for entrepreneurial practice in the university is uneven without complete mechanism and unable to better realize the transformation of scientific and technological achievements;sixth,students know little about the business-related policy and the entrepreneurship policy proposed by the government cannot be well-spread due to imperfect business services system.Conclusion: Presently,there are many problems in the start-up and exploration stage of college students' self-employment in Guangxi,therefore,corresponding suggestions are put forward: first,creating a good atmosphere of entrepreneurship in the whole society and encouraging students to start their own business from the aspects of policy guidance,public opinion,propaganda and so on;second,allowing students to actively participate in various kinds of entrepreneurial activities to enhance their ability and quality;third,under the lead of the government,broadening the financing channels for college students and establishing related business risks security system to reduce the risk of venture investment;fourth,integrating practical teaching and theoretical teaching by establishing a professional instructors team and practical teaching platform;fifth,expanding investment in the construction base and constantly improving “hardware” and “software”;sixth,gradually improving the cooperation among the government,the universities and the society to form a powerful entrepreneurial service force.
