The emergence and development of new media represented by mobile devices promoted the rapid development of information and communication make people’s life and study way toward miniaturization, facilitation, efficiency. The moral course was deeply influenced by information technology. Therefore, it is necessary to explore a more miniaturization, convenient and highly effective learning mode. The formation of micro course provided an opportunity for the reform of moral course. In this paper, author put forward the development steps for micro moral course based on the study of the related literature which was in terms of micro course at home and abroad, and combined with teaching practice and students’ requirements in the junior high school education. Then this article designed a micro course case including knowledge teaching, active inquiry and review and critique which aimed at the development steps. After this, this article applied the case into the practice of classroom teaching in order to investigate application effects of micro course through the experiments of control groups. In order to find a new way to integrate the information technology and traditional teaching and promote teaching efficiency, This article tried to achieve this goal by seeking the development and research of micro course for junior middle school thought moral character teaching.
