Study On Investigation Of College Students’ Volunteer Service

The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China report specifically pointed out:"we should strengthen the construction of the socialist core value system, start the socialist core value system education and learning." Call on the whole society to carry out the activities of the construction of the spiritual civilization, and widespread volunteer service activities, popularize the learning from Lei Feng. The volunteer service activities in Colleges and universities has very important significance to the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of education documents spirit, and help to promote the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, to build a socialist harmonious society, realize the dream of China, to promote the healthy growth of university students. However, the current development of college students volunteer service has some problems. How to grasp the dynamic development of college students volunteer service, effectively promote the healthy development of College Students’ volunteer service, making it become an important carrier of growing up of college students and the construction of harmonious society, is an important topic in the new period of student work. After several decades of development, voluntary service in China has achieved initial success,and play an important role in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. However, because of the voluntary service starting late in our country, city college students volunteer service has still existed many problems.On the one hand, these problems are not conducive to the long-term development of the cause of voluntary service, on the other hand can not provide a better platform for College Students Ideological and political education.Therefore, in order to promote the sustained and healthy development of Chinese Undergraduates’volunteer service activities, taking Qingdao city as an example, I try to find out these problems and solve them. This paper adhere to the Marx doctrine of dialectical materialism and historical materialism world outlook and methodology, through the combination of empirical literature research method, survey method, theory with practice, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, starting from the background of the current college students volunteer service, first elaborates the connotation, the characteristics of college students volunteer service, to clarify the relationship between the college students volunteer service and the thought political education; secondly, taking the city of Qingdao college students volunteer service as an example, analyze the investigation of the present situation of college students volunteer service in Qingdao, trying to find out the current problems existing in the College Students volunteer service, and analyze the cause of the root cause of these problems; finally, aiming at the existing problems of college students volunteer service, some pertinent measures are proposed to develop college students volunteer service.The study found that, the existence of Qingdao college students’ volunteer service problems not only from the outside, including the social world and voluntary organizations, also comes from the students themselves. But the question mainly lies in the insufficient attention of university organization.The social identity is not enough. Students lack the understanding of volunteer service. In this regard, relevant departments must improve the management authority to strengthen the related mechanism of college students volunteer service, give full play to the functions of Ideological and political education of volunteer service, such as, optimization of volunteer service recruitment mechanism, perfect the management mechanism of voluntary service, perfect the incentive mechanism of voluntary service; People from all circles of life must give sufficient attention to college students volunteer service, such as, improving the service on college students volunteer recognition, giving college students volunteer service for laws and regulations of college students volunteer service, giving sufficient funds security; College students must perfect themselves, such as, deepening the understanding of voluntary service, correcting the service motivation and improving their comprehensive qualities and voluntary service.
