Based on the demand of curriculum reform, the personnel training and the development of teachers, this research proposes the teaching mode of "question guiding teaching" in senior biology.At first,it analyzed the related concepts of the teaching mode of "question guiding teaching" in senior biology and the theoretical basis with the reference to related research at home and abroad; and summed up the operation procedures of teaching mode of "question guiding teaching ":to set up situations and put forward questions; thorough situation to solve and find out the problems; discussion and feedback of the problems; screening of effective problem; the essence of difficult problems; summary and evaluation of personality; the consolidation and improvement to derivative problem.At the same time,this study proposed the feasible operation strategy and evaluation methods.Then, a teaching experiment was conducted for five month in the object of study through quasi experimental design. Through pre test found no significant difference in two groups of students in biology learning; after the experimental teaching, Z test was used for testing on the difference of the two groups’ scores, the conclusion of Z post test was 2.346.Obviously, it had significantly differences between the two groups1 posttest scores, the preliminary conclusion is that this mode is beneficial to improve the students’ achievement of biology. At the same time, the questionnaire survey was conducted, the survey data showed that the Z test results of the two groups in such as learning interest,learning habits and problem consciousness were greater than 2.58, so it had a significant difference, the result shows that the teaching model is helpful for promoting students’learning interest learning habits and problem consciousness, thinking ability and knowledge construction ability. In addition, the model also plays an effective role in promoting to enhance students’exploring consciousness and practice ability through the directly comparative analysis.Finally, rethink and imagine this research, and bring forward some suggestions about the problems existing in the teaching process.
