Questioning is an important part when teaching. Effective classroom questioning can not only arouse students’learning interest, but also stimulate the creative thinking and develop the abilities of coming up with questions and solving the questions. What’s more, it can also motivate the moral character and form good behavioral habits. But in actual teaching, there is a phenomenon that a large number of ineffective and inefficient questions are in class. Teachers face not a little confusion. How to get out of the dilemma, is a serious subject that all education workers are facing. This paper focuses on the inquiry of effective questioning in moral lessons in junior high school, trying to provide the front line teachers with some valuable methods and strategies, so as to enhance the classroom effectiveness.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part is the preface which comes up with the problems that this paper hopes to solve. The second part includes three chapters. The first chapter expounds the connotation of effective questioning, and defines the concept of it in moral lessons. The second chapter expounds the theoretical basis of effective questioning. The third chapter analyses the current status of classroom questioning through the questionnaire survey and find out the existing problems from the questionnaire, and analyses the reasons why it’s so ineffective in class. The last chapter mainly explores the strategies of how to put effective questioning into effect in moral lessons in junior high school. The last part is the conclusion.This paper is on the basis of the theory literature study, finding out the existing problems at present through the questionnaire. Place particular emphasis on the following five points that are the new type of the relationship between teachers and students, the creation of using teaching materials, the ways of asking questions, asking questions on students’own and the open type of education evaluation, from which investigate the strategies of effective questioning in order to conduct the effective classroom questioning.The effectiveness of the classroom questioning closely links to the cultivation of students’thinking ability and the improvement of moral accomplishment. The process of effective questioning provides the front line teachers with spacious recreation space, so that it is of great significance in education reform today.
