Taichiquan is an aerobic exercise which is easy to learn. It has a good mass base in our community. Its exercise intensity is light medium and it has no special requirements, the physiological burden is small, it is very safe and feasible. It is suit for both of groups and individual to physical exercise. the movement is appropriate for elderly population in the community. The exercise should be start from low intensity, step by step, must persevere to keep,then the effect will be appeared. To improve the community elderly decrease caused by obesity and cardiovascular disease risk and prevention of osteoporosis.In addition, many scholars on the study of the relationship between sex hormone and bone density results in exercise can improve human bone mass and sex hormone levels, and the close relationship between sex hormone and bone mineral density.In order to assess the long-term Taichiquan exercise on body composition and the influence of sex hormone and bone mineral density, to reveal the Taichiquan fitness function of the project, this research uses the test instruments In Body3.0 body composition analyzer and OSTEOPRO UBD 2002 a ultrasonic bone mineral densityof Ningbo University sports institute of physical examination center. To test 50 elderly male Taichiquan practitioners and 50 who don’t uuasl take part in sports of a control ridge has carried on the body composition, calcaneal bone mineral density test, and select a part of the personnel for testosterone test.By this experiment’s assessment of the comprehensive comparison, long engaged in middle-aged and old men of Taichiquan exercise on body composition and bone mineral density and the people who do not often take part in sports have significant difference. Results show that for a long time to take part in the Taichiquan exercise in old people, their fat mass, body fat rate, compared to fat weight ratio and the difference is significant(P < 0.05), lower body fat, fat weight ratio is bigger,Shows that Taichiiquan exercise can effectively reduce the elderly in body fat and body fat percentage, to improve the composition of body composition proportion, to prevent the occurrence of some diseases and improve health can play a good role. Waist-to-hip ratio has very significant difference(P < 0.01),Shows that Taichiquan exercise can effectively reduce the fat content, thus attaining the goal of weight loss. The Taichiquan group average body weight, muscle mass and muscle to fat ratio compared with control group, has no significant difference, there is no statistical significance. Taichiquan group and the control group of testosterone value T was 5.43μg/L and 5.43μg/L, respectively, with significant difference(P < 0.05),shows that Taichiquan exercise can delay the attenuation of male sex hormones.. Taichiquan group and the control group left heel bone of the bone mineral density the T value, the percentage of young people, the Z value, and the equivalent of peers has very significant difference of the percentage, all P< 0.01. And right heel bone density differences in the T value and percentage of young people is very significant(P < 0.01), Z value and is equal to the peers percentage difference is significant(P < 0.05).Shows that taijiquan exercise can bone mineral density to reduce the speed of the elderly, to prevent osteoporosis have a positive effect.Testosterone value and two groups of calcaneal bone mineral density were positively correlated, but do not have significant, explain Taichiquan exercise in old people after the improvement of the bone may be associated with the effect of taijiquan on elderly sex hormones.
