This article studies the mental health conditions and factors of the teachers in Senior High School, Middle School and Primary School in Guiyang City. The research is based on the questionnaires to 500 teachers in the four schools in Guiyang City: Weiming school, Sixteenth Middle School, Thirty-first School, Huayang Primary School in Huaxi County using the Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90) and self-editing questionnaire.The results showed that the teachers who have some problems on the mental health are about thirty-two percents; some teachers who are anxious or bigoted are about thirty-four percents which is under the average rate of common people in the country. We also surveyed the teachers in different groups: the male teachers showed significantly more problems in mental health than the female teachers; the divorced teachers showed significantly higher scores than the unmarried and married teachers, while the unmarried are little higher than the married; the vocational middle school teachers’ s average core is higher than the the average rate of common people in the country, while the primary, middle, senior middle school teachers are normal.The test result showed that some teachers’ problem behaviors are serious in Guiyang City. Facing above said situations, I thinkthat the active measures should be taken to improve and protect the mental health of the teachers. The purpose of this research is to know teachers’ present healthy feelings and deeply analysis it, and offer good measures to take care of teachers healthy feelings.
