New English Curriculum for Chinese Primary Schools clearly presents that the study of English course is a process to master English learning skills gradually and to improve the ability of language use by English learning and practical activity. However, the gap between knowledge and practice become more and more serious in English teaching of Chinese primary school. Therefore, this paper intends to find out some ways for teachers to create English speaking situation, to build up a harmonious oral communication atmosphere and increase the students ’ interest to do oral communication by literature data method, research method and action research method. It is essential to find out the most effective way to make the oral communication used both in English class and out of class. Also, it is significant to work out some reasonable methods to increase the students’ interest on English oral communication through school, family and society. According to this paper, teachers, students and their parents may have a new understanding of English oral communication which can be better used in education and daily life.
